Do they have a big Fireworks display up in your neck of the woods? It has been incredibly dry here...doesnt take much to start a fire.

Getting dry here too and way too humid for my taste. I am a winter person.

But yes Fireworks are going on here. They will fire them over the Red River in Grand Forks-East Grand Forks.

Thats Cool...I've never seen fireworks over water. I think this summer is one for the record books. Hopefully ND is a bit more comfortable than SW MO is right now.

No fireworks around here. We're too dry and there are too many fires. Authorities have shut down fireworks displays planned for tonight. They are enforcing "NO FIREWORKS" anywhere.

But that's ok. Today is a celebration of Independence Day, we can darn sure do that without fireworks.

Yesterday was 104 degrees at 12% humidity where I live.

Hi,

Happy 4th to everyone!! Fireworks are going on here in NE ND. Not dry here, but been getting quite a bit of rain, so much the farmers have had to hire spray planes as they can not get into the fields themselves in fear of being stuck. Had quite system roll though in the early morning hours this am.

Last year my family and I got to watch the fireworks in Duluth MN from a boat out on Lake Superior. Duluth has a huge fireworks display, they said it was the largest display in MN. It was beautiful and was incredible to see what all can be done with fireworks. Giant Smiley faces and hearts and flags lit up the sky. I was impressed!!

I spent my 4th in Watford! Finally got out of WI for a few days to visit hubby before his week off. This past 2 yrs have been a wild and crazy ride but soon I will be renting our home here and heading west. But the most exciting part is we will have a new home out there by October! This all came about during my visit but I had scoped out the development on the internet a few months ago. We are enlarging two of the bedrooms and will furnish them to rent. It will be so nice to be close to Watford yet far enough away from the dust, noise and traffic.
I also got ND plates on my car! wooohoooooooooooooo!!!
