This issue of OUR STATE magazine has several back road trips. We are out of school June 14 and plan to take the old travel trailer around to some great spots.

We have already done a bit of touring since moving here, and we can attest that some of the absolutely BEST sights can be seen off the freeways.

Wife and I just returned from a day trip to Hemingway / Myrtle Beach and came back up 701 through Tabor City / Whiteville / Elizabethtown. The drive was great and we stopped at a few of the smaller stores / restaurant(s). It was a great trip and so much nicer than I 95.
