just trying to fiqure out where to search to find some history of the older homes of nashville, NC
she want to buy a home on washington street here in nashville, so if anyone can give me some hints i would be grateful we would like to know who lived there ect.

If you go to Google and search for storyofmyhome you should find a website by that name that specializes in searching for home histories.

Downtown Nashville has some great old homes! I drive through there all the time. In fact, I'm heading that way in a couple hours.

Nashville is the county seat of Nash Co., 10 miles west of Rocky Mount.

From Raleigh just head down 64 east. Nashville is right off the highway. Downtown is very nice.
