I have lived in louisiana my whole life, and frankly it is time for a change of scenery. I am pretty much tired of the state as a whole, and looking for a more scenic area with alot of options especially Florida or North Carolina. I have researched both states, and really like them both. I am now looking for feedback on what are the better areas. I am looking to buy a house, but not put myself in debt for the rest of my life which makes the area is a huge issue. I do not want the big city life, but more of a family suburbia where i can raise my kids, know my neighbors, not fear crime, and just call home. I am also looking to not pay over $150,000 for a home, so a place that is affordable on monthly bills as well as overall affordable is very important. Any suggestions?
