What I got from Tillis' interview is that if Perdue doesn't come to them with a compromise they will attach it to a bill next week. The question is what bill and will she veto it again.

He may have overspoken and given more info than he should have as far as his party goes. It seems hopeful. They know they heat is on them and the more they put this off the more like a$$holes they look like. They can't keep this up much longer. They might be putting on a brave face and portraying a unified front to the media, but behind closed doors, the GOP is trying to think of a way to get out of this and save face without looking like they backed down. That's what I really believe. Stay hopeful!

You're right. I watched it again and that's what I came away with. Sounds like they are going to offer something less than the 13% budget cut that they originally wanted and see if she will take that. Probably the exact same thing, budget cut for extended benefits. Maybe they will ask for something more reasonable and she will give in. She is going to end up looking bad if she doesn't try to compromise.

Turn up the heat on this arrogant a**holess and call them at home over the weekend - Make them as uncomfortable as we are so they can feel the pain !!!

I don't think you will see any kind on compromise from the Governor that will include any kind of cap on spending without a budget. In fact she has already threatened a lawsuit for such a bill and I would have to agree with her

A lawsuit? That's interesting. Can you post a link to any info about that?
