Entertainment Near Mebane? (chapel, theater, restaurants)

My fiance and I recently relocated Mebane,NC. I'm originally from NY. I am looking for forms of entertainment for a young couple(25) ie billards,good restaurants,dinner theaters,museums,zoos,aquariums,outdoor stuff (ie kayaking,fishing,hiking),arcades,clubs/bars etc.

for bars and billiards, downtown Mebane has a few to choose from. "good" restaurants---depends on what you mean by good. there is an "upscale" sports bar called Overtime that is good. Dick and Janes downtown is a cute little Tapas and martini bar. Ciao Pizza in the walmart shopping center for Italian, a chinese place in the Food Lion shopping center on North 1st street...none of these have any kind of upscale location, but the food is good.
we have a coffee shop downtown on north fourth.
the rest you will have to go to chapel hill, durham, greensboro, ashboro (zoo) or winsten salem for.
