I knew that would catch everyone...I think after thinking about it all as we ask questions (me included) elec costs, housing, jobs, etc, it all boils down to supply and demand, the more supply, the less cost,,,look at it jobs over the past 6 yrs, housing, energy, etc and then you have to take away the things that are not known..who would have thought 911 would incur, not only did that take down NYC, the entire country was effected...we can compare things all day and I do find it informative and it makes me think too about things I might not have but we must also think of that curveball that may be thrown and be prepared for that too...while it does not appear growth in NC will slow down any time soon, what if it does, is everyone prepared, is there a back up plan? Do I want to take all my equity and buy a house cash or take a small mortage not only to have the tax deduction (as uncle sam will get you no matter where you are) and have some cash on hand....what if

You are thinking exactly like us. That's the same stuff my husband and I are always tossing around. We are trying to think ahead too. I guess we better we are not getting any younger.

I also do my best thinking in the shower.
