The HOA where we are moving to requires us to submit a form with complete details, site map, drawings, fence specifications, etc. There are only certain types and colors of fences allowed.
I agree with lovethecarolinas. Californians are used to being fenced in, unless it's rural land. But having lived in other states, there are many communities where the lack of fencing is sort of "understood". Unless of course the covenants prevent them.
Your right! I am over being fenced in, I can hardly wait to be free! Thank God I am not the only one asking these questions. That was my first question to my brother in law (on my first NC trip), no fences, what do you do with your dog?
Also, most of the cemetaries are not fenced. I found that quite interesting also.
Ice storms was another question, brother in laws answer, it melts!
I need a fence for sure. I have dogs and I need a pool too. We are all blocked in with cement in AZ.
Kind of Sad, but we are closing on June 27th, have the fence guy coming to install on the 28th and then the pool guys for quotes on July 5 and July 6th.
Not much chance of a pool this year but we'll be ready for next year
Ya'lls dogs just don't live under the porch? You ought to try that it works out great, you can throw your chicken bones under there when you are setting on your porch sofa eating kfc, and they will get gone.
Oh gosh no..........my dogs are in and our all day. One minute they want to go out and then they bark to come in. My dog would never stay under the porch. She probably have a nervous breakdown. What's funny is I live in Phx and it gets well over 100 degrees and she's a samoyed (sled dog) poor thing.
