I don't want to go through any of that!! I'm getting a plane out of town. Me and momof 2boys and her 2 boys and Ncbound and the person from Seattle. We are getting out of Dodge. Glad we will live by the airport.
I live in Southern California I've been through earthquakes and fires. I think if I can survive the fire storms we had two years ago I can handle a hurricane. The smoke from the fires was so widespread they could see it from the space lab. We lost 75% of our National Forest out in California. I almost lost my home. When we were allowed back on the mountain it looked like a smoking lunar landscape. The most important factor of surviving a natural disaster is to 1) Take precautions: be as prepared ahead of time as is possible and 2) When the authorities tell you to "get out" then GET OUT.
Well I am not a scientist and I am not totally sure why it interferes with the ability to breath but trust me on this one it does. After Ophelia last year that was only a Cat. 1 I am sure we will have to leave no matter what category the hurricane is just because of my breathing problems.
