Within less than two blocks in downtown New Bern one will find:

Morgan's Grill
The Chelsea
247 Craven, and
Bay Leaf

These four restaurants are awesome, just one in a town the size of New Bern would be coup!

New Bern has lots of problems but it's small downtown ain't one!

I love Davidson. I haven't been many places when we visit (only Charlotte area) but we chose Huntersville/Cornelius to move to because of its proximity to Davidson.

A little town called Farmville, NC has some nice antebellum homes. The Downtown looked nice too.
