Let's also not over think this and assume the artists spend their time reading up on the politics of each individual state.
You're right... it's not like this affair hasn't been in the news or anything.
Perhaps you really are right. If that's the case I guess it would throw the argument about hypocracy out the window huh? After all how are they to know the politics of each individual country?

Yeah that's a brilliant idea. Get all of your information from what the biased liberal media feeds you in order to make your business decisions.

Nice try, but anyone who paid some attention in school is going to know that performing in places like China, for instance, is going to have very different customs and outlook than America. You don't have to keep up with current events to understand that.

I was thinking the same thing. I bet the majority of these artists have no clue what the state constitution, the Charlotte ordinance and HB2 actually state. Heck, most of the people making passionate arguments don't even know what all three state in regards to this situation, never mind an artist with a busy schedule, flying around the world. Being on the protestors side is usually a safe bet PC wise in today's world, though. Screaming voices calling one horrible names can damage one's brand, so best to just play along.....even if no one has a clue.

Not only that, but half the time, the artists don't even know where they're performing at when they're on stage.
Good for all who are boycotting!! It's nice to see christians get some of their own medicine. Being christian is a choice too.
Treat others as you would like to be treated!!
Where did religion...or for that matter, Christianity, come into play with HB2?
