Bruce concert in Ohio is still planned, yet that state has the same laws as North Carolina.
Maybe he used HB2 as a scapegoat since about 3/4 of stadium seats would have been empty
True some may wait to the last day but not 8,000
Where did you get that number from? You said he sold 15,000 of the 23,000 tickets already.

Bruce Springsteen cancels Greensboro concert on Sunday because of House Bill 2 | myfox8.com

It in the article and video
Noticed at the end of the video he states 28 states do not have legal protection for LGB and 31 for Transgender

Also noticed it states Greensboro arena has family restrooms.

I must be missing something. I will ask again.

Where did your 3/4 empty seats come from ?

8000 empty

And so do his fans. You're right, Bruce Springsteen in both a talented musician and an ethical human being. He sees it as a bigger issue that one rock concert, and his fans, included his North Carolinian fans, tend to agree.

I'm fairly certain that you can not have 23K for a CONCERT at Greensboro Coliseum...the stage usually sits at the back end of the floor, leaving 5K or more behind the stage.

May not have been a sellout but 15K is a big number.

I had tickets to the Springsteen concert in Greensboro tonight. I support that he cancelled the concert. I'll go see him in another state.

That's great. How many of his fans don't have the luxury of being able to do the same?

For a second, forget the politics. How many people were really looking forward to a nice night out and couldn't do it? I guess it doesn't matter now.

Maybe some of those fans will then think about the reason he cancelled their concert. Do you seriously not get how this works and why he did what he did?

Do you seriously think I give a damn about Bruce's political statements?

It's real brave of him to **** on his fans by cancelling a performance. The guy is sitting on millions of dollars and the people who may have sacrificed to go see him get left out in the cold. I really feel bad for those people. You know, the ones who paid for a hotel room or something, who get the short end of the stick. But, HB2. You know?

If I bought tickets, I'd probably think he's an ******* who thinks he's a lot more important than he really is. Play your music, have a good time, and go home. Be an entertainer or a politician. Not both. I'm actually amazed that people care what an actor or musician has to say about politics. Play a part or play a tune and leave the other BS out of it. It's not a hard concept. If I want to see politics, I'll tune into CSPAN.
