Default I like North Carolina

Im new to this site so be nice to me. I like North Carolina. Im not from there but have lived there and felt very welcomed. It is a beautiful state and has alot to offer.
Also, I am going to be relocating to either Asheboro or near Apex with my family soon. My states economy is horrid and Im getting out before it gets worse, if thats possible. If any of you could give me any pointers on which place would be better, I would appreciate it very much! I want a place with decent schools and where my kids can play without being bothered. Look forward to hearing from you.....
