Hi folks,
Got a Quick pass bill (first time) and their "Quick Guide" shows two options if a person chooses to get a quick pass (which would have a 35% lower charge for using the toll if one chose to get the optional quick pass):

- Sticker: 3.1" x 2.6", adheres to windshield below rearview mirror, $5

- Hard Case: 4.3" x 2.9" x 0.8", velcro for under rearview mirror, $20

Wasnt planning on getting it as I dont commute in RTP but they're in talks with other states and if I went on a road trip (once a year) then they hope to be in sync with those states' systems w/this quick pass.

Anyway: pros and cons of the sticker vs hard case?

Thanks

Only the hard case will work with other states. The sticker will not. That should help your choice.

Also, even though they will whine, you are perfectly legal to register more than one car and buy one hard case transponder and move it between two cars if you want to.

I'm not a user of the toll road, but thought this article might be of some interest:
