My year end benefit for SC is the end of January 2012......I was layed off back in February 2011 then found work for 3 months in NC...I was once again layed off with no work for the rest of 2011.....I was told to continued filing on my original 2011 SC claim until it ended (January 2012)...

QUESTION: When my 2011 claim for SC ends in about 2 weeks...(if i have not found employment) do i have to file ANOTHER claim for NC? Will my checks keep flowing in without interruption? My financial situation is VERY BAD and im trying to find work but i can't afford for my checks to get even a week behind....

PLEASE SOMEONE HELP!!!!!!!! Trying to keep a heads up on this situation so i will know the correct way to go about this....

Have you been filing the weekly claim in SC since working in NC? If so, did you claim income from NC when you filed in SC?

i already had an open claim in SC and was told to go back and file on that one (however, i did originally file in NC when i was layed off...but NC could not help till i was not in SC)

so, being that, my question is do i file for an extension in SC or MUST I go back to NC (remember, i originally filed there to begin with) and do a NEW claim.
