No, this poster simply believes that children must always come before nieces or anyone else. That is how normal parents feel.
Given the circumstances, an abortion would be something else I'd recommend.
Not when the niece isn't at fault for any of this. By letting him off the hook for messing up the car, the boy learns nothing. Well, he learns that he won't be held accountable for his mistakes. I agree with the others. Worst advice ever.
For those who are asking, no, my parent's aren't going to replace the car. Right now it's sitting in front of their house. They do not have the funds to put it in the shop to even see what the problem is. My husband just feels that had my son done the basic maintenance on the car it probably still would be running.
Not probably. It would be.
You've gotten a lot of good advice here but you just continue to make excuses. Your sons problems are his problems created by himself.
You're husband knows how to parent, you don't. Listen to him or don't expect him to have anything to do with them. You want him to do something, then complain when he does something. Doing nothing in this case is doing something.
The very, very best thing for loser and gf (can you believe any self-respecting girl would put up with him?) to do is put baby up for adoption at this point.
I guess I answered my own question....his gf likely has no self-respect and does not realize she could do SO MUCH better than loser #2.
I think mom needs to grow up. She sounds like a teenager herself.
