Sorry, but packing someone who has just thrown up into my bed (how well does OP know that person, ...) and have both spouses hop off to do their things? No! Lay down on the sofa for a couple of minutes until your spouse can get you home or to a medical facility. Aside from cleaning up, laundry, smell and concern - what if? What if there is something really wrong?
Imposing on friends is one thing but this is out of the question.

Why is everybody assuming she is sick with a contagious disease?

Maybe she is pregnant....that's the 1st thing that popped up in my mind.

I was thinking the same thing! I cannot imagine a scenario, where I would do anything like that...even if I drove to someone's home, and felt too ill to drive home, I would check into a hotel, before staying at someone's house...or go to my car, and rest. I don't know, if you are that ill, stay home.

There are some friends, I would be okay if they did that in my home...vice versa, but very close, almost family. Not an acquaintance.

Just another reason why I almost never invite people over.
