we are supposed to go to an adult birthday party at a restaurant.
The only way we'll cancel is if they close the streets or the
restaurant. We always do what we say

Wow! It's only 2013 and many Americans have become so wussified. This reminds me of something I see on my daily commute. The school buses these days will not start moving until the last child is fully seated. When I was riding school buses back in the 1980s the bus started moving once all children walked passed the bus driver. Some of us would get jostled for a minute until we found a seat. These days the children must be too fragile to handle a little jostling.

So I pose this question, by what year will the United States of America collapse from too much wussification, 2020, 2040, 2050, 2080, etc?

Sooner than that, maybe next year

Shouldn't you have thought of this before deciding to be born in December?

Happy birthday!

My birthday is tomorrow and we were supposed to celebrate with friends. I didn't hesitate to call it off when I saw the forecast in everyone's best interest.

Snowmageddon was a total bust here.

So glad I did not do something like call it off... 18 guests and we had a blast!

Well we got more snow than I thought we would, but a handful of people who live close by still made it out and we had a blast

Yes, my gross, lame, backwards city's weather has ruined events for me too. Sorry to hear.

You know you could pick a random fall day and make that your official birthday so all of your celebrating can take place on that day. Then you could plan the event just like it is your birthday ( there is christmas in July)
