This is one of my favorite comedians. I think he also sounds quite wise.

Reminds me of this older segment (glad I watched the one posted here in OP, since it was a different one):
Everything is Amazing and Nobody is Happy - Louis C.K. (Video with transcript)
Both segments share similar theme, though: "Everything is amazing and nobody is happy"

Great comedians are like philosophers. And I think Louis CK and Patrice O'Neal are (were) among the best.

^Can you steer me to the best stuff that Patrice O'Neal did? Anything available on youtube/otherwise? I only know him as a warehouse worker from The Office (Sea Monster? Heh). I remember reading an online obituary of sorts where opinions were divided about whether Patrice was a good standup comic...he sounded pretty confrontational. I don't care about that (might very well support that) as long as the content makes me laugh. I never saw anything that he did, standup-wise.

Louis CK is...decent. Closest to Carlin we have these days, maybe, except less believable and less profound (guess I'm judging on latter-day Carlin, though). The part linked in the OP is really good, though.
