Is the list of things/connected to who you are different, depending on who you are allowing to know you? In other words, whom can you be "real"/naked with -- and whom do you hide yourself from?
Do you hide some things from (say, your mum, and/or "aunt Susie") things that you'd let others see?
Why do you suppose this is? , if anyone cares to consider...
(I would be more "forward" and "open" with these three questions -- were it not for the fact there is a "hidden" realm.)

I hide things from my mother because she suffers from anxiety, so certain things I leave out, for her own peace of mind, and my peace of mind as well.

If I hide anything it's because I don't like having to explain myself. Explaining yourself always comes across as an apology or admission of guilt or something.
I don't want to be in college anymore. I'm one of the first person on my dad's side of the family to ever go to college and everyone's so proud of me but honestly, I'm done and over with school.
