I have always been a fan of the 1970s Datsun 510 and a few other Japanese makes from that time period, especially the race prepared versions, Skyline, etc.
A couple of weeks ago Nissan a said they would be doing some sort of throwback type concept that had areal good chance to make it to market and I guess this was it. The Freeflow looks pretty good (except the blue jean seats), but all I can say is the NiSMO version =OMG Yum!
If they really bring a performance version out that looks similar to that, I am sold.
I love it. I grew up on this era of small formal coupe and woudl like to see it make a comeback, especially in RWD turbo 4 form.
Here are more pics of the race and street versions. I see 5120, early KGC10 Skyline Coupe, Silvia, as well as a bit of first gen Celica in there. A few concept car-ish details are not ready for prime time (the headlights on the race version for instance) but the futuristic BRE 510 style is right up my alley.
not a fan of it, it looks like a dodge challenger/camero in the front, big bodied look..not sure if they are just trying to steal US sports car markets or not...just not interested...the GTR is a beast and even the 370z is a great platform that can be easily moded to compete with the GTR

thanks for the pictures, however...i meant the body looks bigger than it needs to be...not sure on the specs but the body is probably wider than the older datsun 510. I like the older 510, they should trim it up a bit.
