Another sports/professional reference: Albany High hires new football coach Albany HS joins Syracuse Corcoran, Syracuse Nottingham, Southwestern(Jamestown), Cleveland Hill(Cheektowaga), Buffalo Bennett and Greece Olympia, among maybe some other HS Football programs in Upstate NY, with head Football coaches that are Black/African American.

Extraordinary Talent of the Week | LocalSYR | NewsChannel 9 WSYR Extraordinary Talent of the Week: Liverpool's Jasen Wagner - (Liverpool is north of Syracuse and when people refer to Liverpool, they really mean the Greater Liverpool area. That includes the western half or so of the town of Salina and the western half of the town of Clay, along with the village. Most of the Black residents are concentrated in the towns in/near some of the apartment communities, but are sprinkled throughout the area/SD. It was one of the suburban areas that some Black area residents would initially move to going back to the late 70's or so partially due to proximity to the former Hancock AFB in Cicero and companies such as Budweiser in the Radisson community, the former General Electric plant off Electronics Parkway and Miller Brewery which had a plant in Fulton, among others that may or may not still be in the area. This goes for the other Northern suburban areas of Syracuse(Baldwinsville and North Syracuse SD's) to a degree as well.)
