My wife and I are seriously considering moving to Warwick NY . We have a 20 month old son and are planning on another baby. We hear the schools are great but we are a little concerned about the hasidic element . Should we be concerned ?
No, not in this community. Warwick has three villages and eight hamlets, making it the fourth largest town in NYS with its own police force. There are a number of excellent pre-schools in both Warwick and nearby Vernon, NJ (just across the border). There are three school districts that cover Warwick: One in Greenwood Lake; one in Florida NY, and the largest one, WVCSD - Warwick Valley Central School District.
I lived in Sullivan County for a while, right near a Hasidic community. They kept to themselves and never bothered anyone. Agree with ccc123, nothing to worry about.
hi, we are new to Warwick too, wondering where we can make friends? have 2 kids so important to have playdates...
thank you
