THANK YOU SO MUCH for posting this link. I collect pic of the WTC and am always looking for the older ones from the 70s.

One of my Dad's former coworkers is in one of them! (the basement photo of the HVAC)

I used to hang out there on the weekends and shopped on the lower level.

Gosh I miss being able to see the towers when you're approaching the airport.

That's how you knew you were home.

I wish I'd been able to visit the towers. I took my first trip to NYC in 2000. I have a picture of my dad on the ferry to the Statue of Liberty, with downtown Manhattan and the WTC behind him. Thought I'd be able to visit them later.

i always remember coming home on vacations... as a kid and later as an adult... driving up the nj turnpike and you'd see the towers rising over the swamps of jersey* and you knew you were almost home...

Default my folks took

me to the observation deck for my 14th birthday in January of 76, 2 months after the obs deck opened

i must have visited the obs deck at least 5-10 times in the 25 years leading up to 9/11
