I have jury duty on Tues 2/16. I am seeking an alternate to the court on public transportation

Normally i take the Bx 9 bus to the D train on Kingsbridge Rd to the court. However, in the unlikely event of snow where the 9 bus cannot make it up the hill in Kingsbridge Rd (unlikely but one never knows) I want to take the 1 train to 157th street and B'way in Manhattan. From there i would look for a bus on W 155th street that goes over the Macombs Dam bridge to the court but I don't know if there is a bus

Does anybody know?

The Bx24 bus will also take you to the D train (at the Fordham Road station). Also, from the 231 Street station on the #1 line, you could transfer to the Bx1 bus, which will take you all the way down the Grand Concourse, right to the courthouse.

The Bx24 has not run since 1995. Here's another option for now though, the Bx10 at 231st Street. You can take the Bx10 to Jerome Av/Bedford Park Blvd and take the (4) to 161st Street or walk two blocks to Bedford Park/Concourse to take the (B) or (D) there.
