Manhattan: Manhattan Center, Baruch College High School, High School for Math, Science and Engineering at City College, Hunter College High School and Bard High School Early College. Don't know much about the Bronx.

When I was of high school age, the best schools in Manhattan outside of Stuyvesant and Laguardia were Manhattan Center, Randolph, and Bergtraum.

But like I've pointed out before on here, this tends to change every 4 or 5 years. So you have to be a little careful.

I believe there are some newer schools on the scene now, that are doing well, so these are also an option. Many of these newer schools were once part of a bigger high school.

Bronx I don't know too much about outside of Bronx Science...

Default I hope he gets into one of the specialized schools

I graduated from Stuyvesant in 1983 and have only great things to say about it!
