Hi,

I'm thinking of moving into an apartment on the corner of nostrand and rutland road. The area seems fine and safe, I'm a bit familiar with it as I work nearby in Flatbush.

I was wondering if anybody had an opinion or recommendation about the area. I know safe can be subjective, but for you, is it safe? Any comments from anyone who lives in the area would be great.

Thanks in advance,

Zach

What initially made you think the neighborhood was a low crime area? Typically, urban areas with an isolated high poverty population have a lot of social problems.

Yeah,

What's with 3 co-current posts about a very specific neighborhood?
You don't get more valid information from asking the same thing over and over again.

It may not be the best, but boy.........it's not the worst, the buildings are good for the most, good amenities and close to the subway, sure it's a little grimy but hey, it could be a lot worse..........walk a few block east.
