Yes, this is the hottest weather I’ve ever experienced in my life. I’m very concerned about this!
What makes it worse is people are already disregarding wearing MASKS to prevent the spread of covid, so even more people will be maskless and potentially spreading the virus!
"The Climate Index for New York City does not have an apparent trend during the last 50 years..."
"The Index has been relatively high in the past decade, but it had similar values in the 1950's. An Index greater than 1 occurred in 1991, but the next year the Index was negative (less than the 1951-1980 average)."
I agree the last few days haven't been abnormally hot for NYC although it sounds like the next few days might be so.

I just got back in a little while ago, as it is Saturday afternoon, 2:40pm and there was a breeze blowing, of course it is hot and humid but it is blowing none the less (most likely a rain storm later) and I don't think it is any hotter than any other summer day, I think the news media loves to panic people by revving them all up and getting them all panic stricken.
It is summer and this is what it is here in the city.
I am one of those people that doesn't believe in "climate change", I think it is all BS.
The climate changes of course, Earth is just doing its thing, that it has been doing for billions of years
sorry, I am not on board with that, I don't believe in climate change, I think it is political nonsense.
Then why is it 86 degrees in NYC?
