I doubt Trump wants it named after him. He does not want any monuments torn down.
Im telling you it was a big mistake supporting the removal of those old Confederate statues. If you give them an inch they will take a mile. Sooner or lately half of the city monuments will be gutted out. Removing historical monuments in NYC is gentrification to its fullest.
I'm very skeptical of the modern accounts of Christopher Columbus that have become gospel the last 20-25 years and that were never taught years before. Were his atrocities hidden by scholars for hundreds of years before being brought to public attention the last few decades by people such as Howard Zinn? Per Wikipedia, Zinn described himself as "something of an anarchist, something of a socialist. Maybe a democratic socialist." The anti-Columbus advocates have an agenda and I don't trust them.

DeBlasio's ancestors were very likely slave owners. He should be done away with too. Maybe we should blow up planet earth since slavery took place in every corner of the world.

we nee to keep things the way they are, and add to it. No way a statue of Missy Elliot in a garbage back is a sound replacement for a war general or president, but it is still suggested. I don't know about that he's Italian American so his ancestors probably came here before the slave trade
