What kind of information do they ask for on that booklet they email you? What would people lie about regarding their background info? I don't have any criminal record, no pending tickets, or anything like that. Just curious what could cause a DQ besides medical.
Previous jobs whether you have been fired or not, or them finding out you didn't actually graduate HS or get your GED.
Is that implying tier 6 has no benefit or reason to take this job??
I know my previous job I had No retirement plan at all, no sick days, 2 weeks unpaid vacation, 6 day, 12 hour a day schedule, no job security, no health insurance ...
Tier 6 was a dream to me... Obviously I would have preferred 4, but Just getting on as tier 6 is not a reason to pass on this job.
No I'm not saying tier 6 is bad at all. Just wanna know what guys think.. how it is where their coming from.
I'm tier 6 as well and we got some if the mist important things back so the job is still definitely worth it.

The FAS calculation isn't really that bad, to me what I really think sucks is the SS offset, which hopefully we get back at some point... and there being no increased benefit for years worked beyond required service... that hurts
You mean you want to move upstate or are you asking ? If your asking. No I'm keeping my ass in the Bronx pepreferably as close to the garage I can get while I'm still a probo. I actually love it here in the Bronx. Not that bad like everyone thinks.

If I'm not mistaken I believe we got the SS offset back (meaning SS won't offset our Pention)
