You'll make it bro... The process getting in is a pain in the ass and they are so anal even at training at Floyd Bennett they are strict about certain things. Some people think Floyd Bennett is a joke. It's not. You will definitely come out of their learning something. This is the place where All your questions will be answered so don't be afraid to ask. I won't name supervisors name on here but their are a lot of knowledgeable minds their that give the RIGHT information so take advantage.
After training this job is a BREEZE!!! Just show up on time and do the right thing.
Quick question for the medical; are you ok to eat in the morning prior to getting into the city? I only ask because prior blood work always asked to have no food intake for at least 8 hours. Just don't see that listed.

You can eat if u want. U don't need to fast for blood work.. I did not eat anything until after I finish my medical. I had water..
Depending on the truck and material they can get up there... most I ever had in one load was 17, but it was heavy material... most days my truck would load out at around 13.5-14 for garbage...
I've gotten 10 tons of paper on truck once, and it wasn't wet or phone books... Ive also had trucks that load out at 6 tons of paper or 10.5 tons of garbage... all depends on the truck
