im sorry madsic, I read your post wrong. For the physical, No. I just showed up with the paper that was sent to me.
It goes: Test, physical, pre-orientation, medical, cdl training, final processing.
I assume that if you already have your CDL, you skip that part, wait for the OK that you passed medical (or maybe its if you don't hear anything, you are good), and then final processing?
Just becoming more exciting us a lot of us with numbers in the 1000-2000 range like myself, are getting closer and closer to getting to the next step this year. Glad I found this forum, listened to everyone and got my CDL last year. Now, just to find the posts about the specific order to do things the day of the medical to make life easier that day...
Anybody have an idea when they will be doing Medical exams again? Reason being is that I passed last year and am hoping that some of it as mentioned on this board will be good. Less running around when im up to the plate....

Hell yeah (list number 1600s), this is our year now. I think people in the early 2000s will have a shot this year as well. Got my paperwork ready to go. Glad I have no worries with the CDL situation.

hey i have question, so today i just received a letter in the mail for the physical test. They also send me another letter for my doctor to fill out. Does this mean that i am in the process of getting in the sanitation department? Sorry i am just very confused. I don't have my CDL permit yet. Any one can inform me on this steps? does this mean i did good in my written examination?

You'll get a pass because its your first post and you just joined and because i woke up in a good mood .... the one for your doctor is only if you have any of the conditions listed on the bottom of that paper that you received ... yes it means they getting closer to your list number and taking the physical is the next step after you took the written exam ... you are in the process .. not having even a permit things looking really bad on your behalf.

If I'm not mistaken you don't need your driving record, I think they print it up there at orientation for you.
As far as paperwork I got my originals/copies of S.S card, birth certificate, cdl (obviously), high school diploma, proof of residence, disposition paperwork (if you had ANY arrest or ANY summons)...and also all my work history and references I wrote down so this way at orientation you have all that infront of you to fill out instead of going through your phone all the time.
What do we need to bring to the physical , just the stuff they sent us right . They want to hire 900 overall or just for one class ?
