Mikfleye3 hiring guide made simple for dummies…

There is no set date anyone can tell you your list number will be called. There is no set time someone can give you for the waiting period in-between steps. Everything is based on the needs of the department, amount of people unqualified before you and your actual list number. So please don’t ask when anyone “thinks” you will be called..…because nobody knows.

Step 1. Take the written exam and wait for results. (February 2015)
Step 2. Physical Exam (Lifting baskets/bags in various scenarios)
Step 3. Pre-Orientation (Submit documents such as proof of residency, CDL, diploma, ect…)
Step 4. Medical (X-ray, eyesight, hearing, blood test, ekg, breathalyzer, drug test, ect…)
Step 5. Final Processing (provide additional documents, if needed, and fill out department paperwork)
Step 6. Training Academy (Wait for the phone call with a date to start training at FBF)

Estimated Hiring’s:
2016 - under the assumption of 4-500 hires per year, list numbers 1-1000.
2017 - assuming 4-500 hires. List numbers 1000-2000
2018 - assuming 4-500 hires. List number 2000-3250
2019 - assuming 4-500 hires. List numbers 3250-5000

Last number hired as of 2016 is #989.
Last number hired as of 08/2017 is #1487.

Please repost this for newb’s too lazy to read through the old and current sanitation threads.

My personal advice, if you haven't been called for pre-orientation, the ONLY thing you should be doing is putting together everything you need for it and reading through past sanitation threads.

San Men from tests 6063 and 5001 and now Tier 3 Modified. Head of the Union (Nespoli) told us last week.

We now have 3/4's Disability and Heart Bill. They are still working on removing the Social Security Offset

Honestly most likely nothing... if your sick, your sick... BUT it's to your disadvantage to miss days so early. 1.5 years is a long time to use up the few days they look past in the first week. If you miss a lot of time during probation there's a good chance you'll be extended. Possibly terminated depending on the severity and types of abscemces.

The one guy I know who went sick was involved in a bad car accident. Not his fault. They are taking care of him at FBF since it's a legit issue.
