Thinking of moving to the Bronx ??? ( University , Grand Concourse , Kingsbridge) .... thoughts ? (Bedford: renting, neighborhoods)

I am thinking of renting a room in one of these neighborhoods in the BX. Basically... I need to be by the A or the D to get to work easily ...I also want cheap rent. So these area seem most to fit the bill and I also speak Spanish.

Any thoughts or suggestions ???

the D runs along the Grand Concourse from Bedford Park to 161 street. The A doesn't start until 207th street in Inwood manhattan and connects with the D at 145th street in Central Harlem

The Concourse south of Bedford Park is primarily Hispanic but your best bet for better housing and atmosphere is at Bedford Park or above extending into the Norwood area across Mosholu Pkwy (the last stop on the D is at 206th street and Bainbridge Ave)
