i received a parking ticket 10/11/11 (so its over a month now) for double parking. while i had a good reason (was being attacked by bees and needed to run into a building to shower and get the bees off me) the officer still wrote me a ticket. anyway, i have been checking online to dispute the ticket and so far it keeps saying the violation hasnt been entered in the system yet. i also did a search by my license plate and it didnt come up. so whats the deal? does it really take that long? maybe the officer felt bad because of all the bee stings and tore it up?

i was in the vicinity of the ferry on staten island. i think there was a plan by republicans to bring the bees over to zuccotti park to torment the occupy wall street crowd. a hive must have fallen off the truck right next to my car.
is there any chance that the officer never submitted the ticket? he wasnt one of the people with the electronic gadget, he was handwriting it. id be happy if it never got submitted but i dont want to forget about it and find out i owe a fine plus penalties and then they tow my car one day.

Maybe he got attacked by bees too and in the flurry of excitement dropped the ticket.
This gives an entirely new spin to the old grade school line, "My dog ate my homework."
