Single family homes for 400k in Old Millbasin Brooklyn? (Nassau: mortgage, square footage)

Hi All,

Those that know this area what is the possibility that I find a nick single family home 1500 square footage in Old Mill Basin Brooklyn? We plan on putting a good amount down to keep our mortgage right under 2k. Any other areas similar? I need to be close to Belt as both hubby and I work in Queens and Nassau county.

400k is going to be tough to find in that area but I do wish you the best of luck as it is still quite a safe and desireable area to be in.
