Hi there,

I recently got a speeding ticket on Aug 31 2010 but the ticket still does not appear in the database. It is due within 15 days. The thing is, the officer failed to write a violation code or the speed I was doing which makes me not even able to know what amount to pay if I were to plead guilty.

I keep checking back but still nothing, I even went to Traffic Violations Bureau to show them the ticket and they stamped it saying "Motorist appeared, No speed" and they said to wait it out.

What's going on? Help. What should I do, I really don't want to wait until it's too late otherwise they will suspend my license and I can not have that happen. I am planning a move to Atlanta which is a car City.

So stressed out

I had the same issue in NY, the only way I could take care of it is by going to the DMV downtown. Paid it there in person with no issues. Of course your situation is different because the officer screwed up, but the fact that their system is so flawed it can be due in 15 days but not appear in the system for months is really messed up.
