Who do we contact to find out our status? Preferences? My list number is 3xxx, and I haven’t been contacted yet. The only preference I have is being a city worker.

I'm a city worker too and my log number is 2X, and I still haven't been contacted yet -__-'. I know there's a lot of unit but it's over 3 months since I got my log number. I thought by now I would been contacted at least to submit docs or something

You Definitely should have been contacted already with a log that low and being a city worker. This isn't making any sense. They need to be more transparent on how the log #s actually work when it comes to housing lottery.
Imo, housing connect needs to get rid of preferences, period. This is literally a Lottery. How do preferences even come into play in a lottery? Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not hating on those with CB preferences but even those with CB preference and just a little common sense can't pretend how "lottery" and "preference" doesn't even go hand in hand.

First they start with disabilities then cb then nyc employees. Log numbers don’t matter well it does just when they start with your preference so you guys would definitely get contacted once they finish the cb bashes and that could be sometime next year but it would happen just have to have patience and faith. Good luck to everyone. And I didn’t know much until I read that link I just posted of the handbook. Lol
I've been contacted, Ive sent all the documents. I sign documents. I got a unit. My review is complete But I lost my job a week after I started this process. I got a job month later but I make less. Idk what's gonna happen to me
