I think part of the reason for the revamp is, people will only be able to apply to those things they qualify for, not everything that is listed on the site. Also, on your dashboard, you'll be able to see the status (in real time). I, for one, prefer this new site, even if I can't see the status on all the lotteries I've already applied to.

I agreed
That way next year when I move again I. Can apply for something good
Anybody seeing any new lotteries yet? Would have thought that at least a couple would have been put up on the new site by now.
Nope, still nothing. Yeah it's weird because it's the middle of the month, and nothing. I wonder if there are no lotteries? That happens sometimes. A couple of weeks have gone by and no new lotteries. Maybe that's the case?
I saw on the news that there will be no new lotteries until the lotteries on the old housing connect are closed. Most of the lotteries close in August.

Last lottery closes September 1, two months with no new lotteries seems like a long time.
Yes I was wondering why the new site has no lotteries. Also, I just read in yesterday’s newspaper that New York will be raising property taxes to cover for coronavirus deficits. This means that if a developer wants to create a new property, then the only way to not pay the high tax will be to participate in more of these lotteries.
Does anyone know when the new site will have housing applications/options? Online it says July, but nothing seems to be available on the site and it's mid July, maybe it's due to covid.
I signed up for 2.0 in June and have been waiting for the transition. I noticed that the original housing connect 1.0 no longer has new lotteries and hasn't for 2-3 weeks and neither has this new site. 1.0 continues to update log numbers etc but no new options on either site.
