They are going into Alamo today with Sandy and Charlie. I talked to Sandy earlier. That side of the Mt is just fine.

I just found this. Prayers being sent- for recovery for those who have lost their homes, for strength for the firefighters and for the safety of other's homes and most of all- for safety and strength for everyone in Timberon.

As I read through this thread, it brought tears to my eyes (and trust me, that's not easy to do). I saw a lot of new and old posters- asking questions, answering questions and offering respite if needed. I'm so proud of y'all- New Mexicans (year round or part time ;-) are some of the best damned people in the world.

I talked with Linda around 7am. She is back at the fire station. She did get some sleep. New Mexico Fire Information says they are hoping for containment by tomorrow. Don't know how up-yo-date this info is.

I just heard about this as well, and I want to send my thoughts out to all those who live up in the Sacramento's, and especially emergency personnel.

My thoughts and prayers are going out to all in the area. If there is anything I can do, let me know.

Jane, thanks, was a little worried. Their cell phones don't work where ever they are now. Appreciate the update. See you the Fourth, hopefully!!
