Hi everyone. I'm looking pretty seriously into moving to New Mexico - right now either Albuquerque or Santa Fe. I used to live in Arizona and have visited Albuquerque many times going back and forth from AZ and MN (where I'm currently living) and I really loved the vibe of New Mexico. Everything I've seen and experienced in New Mexico has been fantastic as well. Unfortunately, I've never been to Santa Fe, but from the research I've done on the city, it seems more intriguing to me than Albuquerque, and I would be visiting SF before potentially moving of course. I'm a 21-year-old vegetarian musician and audio engineer who enjoys meeting people and going to concerts. Is it, for any reason, hard to meet people around my age in either city? I don't own a car and take public transit and bike/walk most places - would I be able to do this in either city, and would either be better than the other for this? From the time I've spent in Albuquerque, it seems like it would be fairly hard to live there without a car. Any suggestions on where I should consider living? Thanks a lot for your time. Take care.
Oh, whoops. I meant to post this in the main New Mexico forum. Sorry..
