My husband was going to work on GSP this am and could not believe how horrible the roads were! NO plows in sight....He said from Exit 80 to Ex. 120 it was terrible! Roads were sheet of ice and couldn't see pavement for miles! Where are all the plows for the state? Aren't they supposed to be working OT and overnight to make sure commuters can trek in this in the am???

No problems going North from Nutley/Montclair to Paramus.

But the streets in Nutley were sheets of ice.

My brother took the parkway up from Hazlet to Clifton this morning and said other than a couple icy/slushy spots it was fine. He said he made great time and had time to go to the Tick Tock for a Taylor Ham, egg, and cheese and some coffee before meeting his client in Rutherford.
