I am from India. We are shifting over New Jersey in march'2011. My husband's office is at Franklin Lakes. We have a daughter who is going to be in 5th standard this march. I am eagerly looking for a home in such a locality which will be near franklin lakes, a good school district and have a good number of Indian population.
Can anyone help me providing these information? Hoping for quick reply.
Warm thanks in advance
Smile from Bengal
Your best bet is probably going to be Parsippany. It's about 20 mins from Franklin Lakes.

To the OP: One of NJ's great strengths is it's championing of diversity.
For example, if someone posted that they are Western European in origin and desire a school with a majority of Western European descended children, some would take umbrage to such a desire and call them names.
To the OP, I can tell you that in NJ just about anywhere you move, no matter if you are the only Indian there, you will not have much trouble. That is the wonderful thing about NJ. At the same token, I understand your concern 100%. I live in Pa, and in a lot of areas in the state, a mostly white population, means that they want to keep it like that. Near where I live they are complaining because an Indian restaurant opened in the boring & ugly downtown(God forbid a Middle Eastern Restaurant opens, what will they do with all the ethnic influence?). They even complained about a cultural diversity appreciation project by one teacher! Sadly, between the two coasts you find a lot of this in the U.S. So, I honestly don't find your statement racist, in any way. Its valid.
Tolerance is NJ's & the entire NYC Metro's thing. If you really want lots of diversity, consider northern NJ. Aside from Newark & East Orange, the north is the most diverse in the state. Passaic & Bergen counties lead in diversity.
Hope you find what suits your family's needs.
