I'm driving to Trenton and need to park and take the train into NYC from there.

Please forgive me, but I have to ask which parking lot I should use and is it safe for a woman to walk alone at night to and from her car there? I may not get back until late at night.

I would pay a little more for proximity and security.

Thanks in advance,

There is a surface lot right at the station that is pretty well lit. It is an unmanned lot (pay at a kiosk). The station has a fair police presence, so if you are nervous, ask a police officer to walk you to your car.

The station is busy during the evening rush, if you are later than that an escort to your car is a good idea (no matter what lot you park in).

Why not park at Hamilton? I think the parking options and highway access are better. It's also not urban. And, it's one stop closer.

Second for Hamilton. I would not walk late at night in Trenton.

Thing about Hamilton is, it fills up pretty quickly and you might not be able to find a parking space, there is a parking deck in Trenton, mind you I've never used it.
