I'm 17 and half years old and I want to work somewhere during the summer as part or full time. I applied to nearest Shoprite and Duncin Donuts and got no reply back Do you know any places they need someone? I really want to work, nothing to do during summer when the school is over soon.

Please help me!

I appreciate your ambition. I hope my kids are just like you someday.
Its refreshing to see this.
I would say first - follow up with those 2 places. If nothing then keep trying places like that. Also try stores in the mall.

Default summer jobs

Hey!

Have you tried home depot or lowes? They both offer full benefit packages for part time help once you are there for 90 days.

I know people who work at both and really like it!

Good Luck!

I wanted to work at something not too hard as for home stuff cuz I don't know that much about it. But working as cashier there would be good.

Try working in a supermarket. They are usually hiring and will give you a flexible schedule

Also check in your guidance counselor's office. I would think a lot of places would reach out to your school looking for employees.

Do you still need to get working papers?

Try you local better restaurants. They usually need bus boys\girls, and you get tips as well as pay. My son got a job at a local restaurant and did pretty well because he was a really hard worker, and the waitresses tipped him well.

You may also want to try some child care centers...I'm not sure if there is a minimum age for a classroom aid but the only way to find out is to call.
