In the past, many girls from Slovakia and other countries in Eastern/Central Europe found summer work at hotels and amusement facilities located at The Jersey Shore. Unfortunately, due to the disasterous effects of Hurricane Sandy, many of these places sustained heavy damage, and are still not operating.

Some leisure facilities at The Jersey Shore will be open for business this summer, but the number of places for employment will be far less than in the past.

I'm sorry for having to give you some bad news.

With all respect, we here at the south Jersey shore are fighting very hard to dispel that assumption that the entire shoreline is crippled. There are marketing campaigns directed at this now because when the casinos do marketing polls, they find a large number of people still believe it is still damaged.

All shore towns in Atlantic and Cape May Counties will be fully ready for the summer season and have thousands of summer jobs to fill. Try Morey's Pier in Wildwood, they hire many visa students every summer: Work · Morey's Piers & Beachfront Waterparks
