I am looking for a house in rockaway. The one i am interested in is in rockaway, just near to dover. Although they say the house is in rockaway but the address is of Dover. Moreover, I also wanted to know how is birchwood elementary school. I'll appreciate any information on this area and school.

Thanks

The zip codes in the area are funny like that. There are even some relatively high priced Rockaway houses with Dover addresses.

From memory. The schools in general are good but do not get the high NJ score because they fare poorly for special ed kids. I was looking into the area a year ago before I realized buying a home was impossible to afford.
