Some of the best neighborhoods in NJ employ volunteer, no cost disposal strategies.

These black vultures allow the taxpayer money saved on sanitation costs to be chaneled into political boondogles that make the state a giant feeding trough for politicians and their cronies.

Perhaps balck vultures should replace the goldfinch as the state bird.

Even more appropriate is the black vultures proactive behavior of feasting before the food stops moving.

LOL. Goldfinches are much prettier, though.

I took some cherry blossom photos in Branch Brook Park in Newark today. Some of the pink ones have not fully bloomed yet.

NJ is a wild place, home to critters that were here long before the cows came and went.

Red fox pups see something in NJ.

Default Restore the Shore

Today in Spring Lake they were working on fixing the boardwalk and replenishing the beaches and the sand dunes. Parts appear to be finished but there was work to be done.

I drove down the road from Spring Lake but could not get to the beach parts of Lake Como and Belmar, where workers were busy. But Spring Lake is making progress! A few brave souls were walking on the chilly beach, where the surf was quite rough.
