Hi,

We are researching towns where we can rent a 2-3BR apt in Morris county for approx 1500-1600/mo. Can you recommend. We would like a place with a good community and kids activities.

Thanks.

Default Try Peach Tree Village

I would say try Peach Tree Village - it may fall under a Hackettstown mailing address but it is part of Washington Twp. - Morris County - Longvalley School system which are rank among the top for Morris County. Next suggestion would be Mt. Olive Twp...There are several apt. complex in the Budd Lake Area as well as Oakwood Village in Flanders. Good Luck : )

i agree with peachtree, but STAY AWAY (stay far, far away) from budd lake complexes.

however, the OP has posted about 5 new threads yesterday, pretty much asking the same thing, and in a few he/she said he/she needs to be within 1 hour of NY, so it effectively knocks these complexes out of the picture.

to the OP - you don't need to keep creating new threads. create one with all of your questions - it's easier for responders to answer accurately.

I know this is a old thread but I answered the question you posted today and then looked at the questions you have been asking. Anyway it looks like you keep asking a question and then never coming back to the thread you start.

I will give you the towns with good schools anyway. These are towns with good schools reasonable property taxes and decent commute into the city.

Summit, New Providence, Chatham, & Madison.

I would also suggest that you consider getting a Aupair rather than trying to do daycare and after school care. It is more convenient and cheaper. Should run you about $15,000 for a year. Do the math on daycare and after school care, and the occasional night out where you have to have a sitter ($10 an hour) and you will see what I mean.
