Hi, I'm trying to find a hospital, called the holy ghost hospital. it might not exist anymore, but I know it did in 1955. if anyone knows what city it used to be in or what city it's in now, please let me know, it is really important that i find out. i've tried googling it, but its just not coming up. if anyone can help, please do. thanks.

I wonder if it was a "home for unwed mothers" kind of place rather than a hospital.

Have you tried some local historical societies or calling some of the archdiocese offices for NJ? It was surely a Catholic-run place, judging by the name. You might even call Holy Name Hospital (in Teaneck) and ask them if they've ever heard of a maternity home called Holy Ghost, that you're doing family research for an uncle born in 1955. Probably will be a dead end, but you never know.
